SafeFloor Frequently Asked Questions

How much does SafeFloor cost?

Every installation has a different complexity, shape and size. It is preferred to measure the project to ensure an accurate quote.  In some instances, it is possible to receive an estimate via phone or email. This estimate will always be followed by measurements and an exact quote before starting a project.

What color options do you have?

We have many colors to match almost anything. Most custom colors are a blend of two, three, or even four colors to acheive the desired look. It is recommended to use at least two colors.  We have color blocks and samples available for you to look at before you pick your color.

How long does the installation take?

We will complete most jobs in one day. The boat then requires a  curing period. Your boat can then be used 3 days after installation.

Is SafeFloor permanent?

Yes, it could be removed but it is chemically bonded to the surface of your boat, so it is very difficult to remove.

How is SafeFloor installed?

SafeFloor is installed solely by careful hand application, similar to finishing concrete. Safe Floor is troweled on your boat in small hand mixed batches.

How do I wash my new SafeFloor?

Just as you would your original deck. We recommend a 5 to1 water/bleach mixture, then brush and hose down with a garden hose. Occasional pressure washing is allowable.

Can I install SafeFloor myself?

SafeFloor’s application requires training and precision. Our installers have had extensive training to ensure the installation of your SafeFloor is held to the highest standard.

Where can SafeFloor be installed?

SafeFloor can be installed on most horizontal surfaces.
